This is a smaller utility knife with a rosewood handle and a stainless steel blade.
I have heavily discounted this knife because I made a mistake when building the handle. It has two spots where I inadvertently drilled though the handle. Structurally it is 100% fine as the holes are thoroughly impregnated with glue, but aesthetically it is not perfect. One of my favourite knives at home is the same and shows no suggestions of a problem at all, in spite of regular use and washing.
The blade is 4 1/2“ long, which is about 11. This means you will be able to use it for fine work with ease. In fact, if this becomes your knife, I bet it becomes one of your most used knives.
The stainless steel blade is a pragmatic choice for foodies who cook a lot as it will stay in good shape with little effort.
The Rosewood used in the handle polishes-up beautifully and will continue to do so for a very long time - generations - if it is looked after with love.
The bolster is made from olive wood and nicely complements the main handle.
